Mouthsounds is the creation of Adam and Reed, a father-son pair who don’t like to talk about feelings* because emotions should be kept deep inside where they can be quiet in the corner and keep to themselves or ferment until they foam over. We don’t particularly like small talk and we don’t particularly like all people, but since we have a lot in common, we do like talking to one another even about the small things in our lives. Our conversations range from movie reviews to customer service to school life, especially when things are dysfunctional or amusing or both.

Reed is a college student who spends most of his time several hundred miles away from home, and summers are spent working at a local coffee shop. He loves animals and art, and is active in environmental and social justice issues. His favorite superhero is Ironman.

Adam is a professor who teaches science and loves backpacking or trail running outside and playing piano inside. He works with teachers and promotes science education at all levels. His favorite superhero is Elastigirl.
